Synopsis
有抱负的街头舞者斯凯勒（泰雅娜·泰勒）正处于她人生的一个重要十字路口。她决定尝试与她正式训练的妹妹托莎（塞拉·麦克莱恩）一样的舞蹈队，以争夺大学奖学金，但家人和男友怀疑她原始、急躁的天赋足以让她获胜。斯凯勒决心证明他们都错了，在亚特兰大的地下舞蹈现场不停练习，吸引了泰瑞尔（布莱谢尔·格雷）的注意。他帮助她把她性感的舞蹈和嘻哈战斗技能带到一个新的水平，以实现她的梦想。
