Synopsis
考古学家们发现了四枚恐龙蛋，于是送到古生物研究室研究如何利用高科技时光孵化器来孵出恐龙，为了防止其不适应新世纪的文明社会，危害人类，最终决定在恐龙出生前向其注入文明基因。可是，因为工作人员的疏忽，文明基因只注射了一半，恐龙蛋就裂开了。与此同时，小恐龙的诞生也唤醒了在远处的山洞里沉睡千年之久的古老生物：闪龙屠兽。小恐龙从此陷入了危险之中。而滨滨等人却无意中将四只小恐龙分别带回了家，之后，小恐龙便和四位小朋友开始了不解之缘。
