Synopsis
1977年，祸国殃民的十年动乱和四人帮被扫荡汰尽。千疮百孔的国度总算焕发了新的生机，好不容易回复的高考为被耽误了学业和人生的青年们指明了新的道路。靠山屯知青刘思杨（邵峰 饰）和乔慧敏（刘威葳 饰）原打算借此良机共进学业，结为夫妇，谁知却遭到无量知青王富贵（肖光奕 饰）陷害，几经周折，有情人而最终生离死别，天各一方。转眼十年过去，刘以留学博士身份携妻子郝佳丽（刘欣 饰）来到某高校担任系主任，谁知意外重逢已经离婚的惠敏。 在新时代的浪潮下，两人似乎见到重修旧好的曙光，只不过造物多弄人，刘思杨、乔慧敏以及身边所有的人仍将被迫接受命运的左右与安排……
