Synopsis
忍者神龟2012是由尼克儿童接手后，官方企划在2012年推出的电视剧，忍者神龟2012第二季动画是忍者神龟2012的续作，忍者神龟2012第二季全集设定是基于忍者神龟87版的升级与翻新重制。 《忍者神龟》漫画诞生于1984年，而于1987年播出其第一部动画。故事的主角是四只住在纽约下水道的基因突变的小乌龟，由他们的老师——一只变成了老鼠的日本忍者教导他们忍者的精神和功夫，以此同邪恶的鬼足忍者施莱德（Shredder）和外星人朗格（Kraang）进行战斗。 因为忍者龟的老师非常喜欢艺术，所以用了四名文艺复兴时期艺术家的名字来给他们命名，分别是使用武士双刀的里奥纳多（Leonardo）、擅长铁尺的拉斐尔（Raphael）、用武士棍的多纳泰罗（Donatello）和最爱搞笑的双截棍高手米开朗基罗（Michelangelo）。
