Synopsis
上个世纪80年代，在韩国职棒联赛中的明星选手宣铜烈和崔东源之间展开了一场历史性的对决。 两个怀揣梦想的男人，一场孤独炙热的对决。 动荡、激奋上世纪80年代，棒球被韩国国民视为国球，大家通过感受赛场上的激动气氛来营造自强之梦。1987年5月16日，一场别开生面的棒球比赛改变了两个男人的命运：一个是通过不懈努力成为全国知名投手的崔东元，另一个是后起之秀——天才投手宣铜烈。他们之间的关系颇为复杂，是充满友情的前后辈，有时不得不狭路相逢的敌手。这场艰难的鏖战究竟谁胜谁负？
