Synopsis
安妮（蓓蒂·赫顿BettyHutton饰）是个性格大大咧咧的假小子，在一场射击比赛中她夺得头筹，于是受邀加入了《狂野西部》的演出队伍中，在这里，安妮邂逅了名为弗兰克（霍华德·基尔HowardKeel饰）的男子，随着时间的推移，安妮渐渐的爱上了弗兰克。然而，弗兰克喜欢的是那种长发穿裙子极富女人味的类型，安妮的形象和个性显然和弗兰克的理想型背道而驰。当安妮在表演中一炮而红后，嫉妒心驱使弗兰克离开了《狂野西部》表演组，加入了他们的对头《波尼印第安人比尔秀》。在后者的挤兑之下，《狂野西部》损失了许多人气，面临歇业的命运。
