Synopsis
走过战争，走过文革，来到了改革开放，关于军队的建设也面临着转型。1978年党的十一届三中全会决定把工作重心放到经济建设上，一只特种作战部队被安排到了改革的前沿经济特区。面对全新的环境和改革的浪潮，这只特种部队从组建、成长到壮大，经过不少挫折和磨难。他们接受过边境轮训、百万大裁军、走精兵之路、特区发展建设和进驻香港准备等多次重大事件，描述了我国部队随着我国经济的发展而发展。 其中以秦子雄（张丰毅 饰）、章大军（尤勇 饰）、慕容秋（于小慧 饰）、闻勇（陈锐 饰）为代表，反应了当代军人面对事业生活爱情的态度。赞颂了当代军人的气魄及其无私奉献的精神。
