Synopsis
兩位電影系畢業生決定不計一切代價，完成一部轟動影壇的成功影片；在經歷第一部失敗之作的慘痛經驗後，威爾頓和AJ決定以一家兩人徵信社為題材，拍攝一部紀錄片；私家偵探布恩（麥吉爾費洛）是這家位於洛城的袖珍徵信社老闆之一，由於生意慘澹，徵信社的財務並不樂觀，但布恩決心要改變這個現況；當布恩的合夥人意外身亡後，威爾頓和AJ的拍片計畫亦加入了不可預料的變數，並就此捲入了充滿誘惑、背叛、與謀殺的現實世界中。
