Synopsis
有一天，乞丐薛平贵（张晨光 饰）和当朝御史大夫王文的掌上明珠王宝钏（张玉嬿 饰）意外相遇，并一同参加了吃饭比赛，最终取得了第一名。宝钏天生美貌，被誉为长安第一美人，相国之子高伯宣和王爷之子刘志鹏都追求着宝钏，想要娶她为妻。宝钏在躲避他们的纠缠之时，掉进了薛平贵的马车里。
