Synopsis
故事发生在30年代初期的山东胶东山区。影片反映一对青年新婚夫妇的生活命运。丈夫于振海为革命抛家离舍、出生入死：妻子桃子坚贞不屈，为丈夫遭受磨难。影片通过于振海等的形象塑造表现胶东农民在党的领导下觉醒和参加战斗的情况。
