Synopsis
詹姆斯（艾德·赫尔姆斯EdHelms饰）是一名警察，某日，他邂逅了名叫凡妮莎（塔拉吉·P·汉森TarajiP.Henson饰）的女子，凡妮莎是一名风情万种的单亲妈妈，没过多久，情投意合的两人就走到了一起。凡妮莎有一个12岁的儿子卡里姆（泰伦斯·利特尔·加登海格TerrenceLittleGardenhigh饰），很不幸的是，这个正处于叛逆期的男孩对于詹姆斯的存在表现得非常抗拒。为了让詹姆斯离开自己的母亲，卡里姆竟然想到了雇佣逃犯来恐吓詹姆斯的损招，哪知道这一招却给自己和母亲带来了杀身之祸。无奈之下，卡里姆只得和詹姆斯联手，他们所要面对的，是杀人不眨眼的恶魔。
