Synopsis
阔别祖国三十五年的乌拉尼亚回到了故乡多米尼加共和国。三十五年前整个多米尼加共和国处于冷血独裁者特鲁希略的统治下，乌拉尼亚的父亲凯布尔正是这位独裁者的得力助手。三十五年后，凯布勒尔已老，他行动不便更是丧失了语言功能。乌拉尼亚的姑妈不能理解为何乌拉尼亚从不曾探望自己父亲，面对质问，乌拉尼亚缓缓诉说起三十多年前那些美好的回忆，那些政治阴谋，还有那个毁了她一生的秘密……
