Synopsis
孟大卫（王迅 饰）一直希望能够成为一名作家，然而，直到真正走上这条道路后，孟大卫才发现，这是一条多么艰险的路。事业遭遇了瓶颈期的同时，孟大卫和妻子杨晓楠（于莎莎 饰）之间的关系也降到了冰点。不仅如此，孟大卫还被确诊患上了癌症，命不久矣。 心灰意冷的孟大卫决定给自己买一份人身保险，受益人填上了妻子的名字。之后，他踏上了前往泰国的自杀之旅。然而，孟大卫的自杀计划却进行的非常不顺利，在屡遭失败后，孟大卫找到了杀手布兰（金圣柱 饰），将了结自己性命的重任交到了他的手上。哪知道布兰看似冷酷残忍，实际上却是懵懂莽撞的菜鸟，不仅没死成，孟大卫还被卷进了一宗神秘的阴谋之中。
