Synopsis
孤儿仙波留吉（加濑亮 饰）怀揣对电影的热爱来到京都，拜入猎户电影院老板丰田松藏（宇崎龙童 饰）门下学习电影放映。不久丰田因病去世，留吉和丰田之妻登世（宫泽理惠 饰）继续支撑着电影院的运营。两人相互扶持，不离不弃，渡过了电影业的衰退期，亦承受着他人冷嘲热讽和流言蜚语。
