Synopsis
1940年，世界反法西斯战场进入最艰难时期。欧洲战场，纳粹军队闪击波兰后，连下荷兰、比利时和卢森堡、挪威。1940年6月14日，号称世界列强之一的法国投降，希特勒在凯旋门前阅兵，叫嚣将实施“海狮行动”，进攻英国。一直支持中国的苏联，为避免两面受敌，只能和日本签署满蒙边界停火协议。而在中国，正面战场上的国民党军队节节败退，为了抵抗日军的进攻，残酷的枣宜会战中，中将张自忠（邓超饰）以身殉国，江汉平原以至华中大部又落入日本人之手。
