Synopsis
纽顿（史蒂夫·马丁 Steve Martin 饰）是一名建筑师，他发誓要建造出他理想中最完美的房子，然后向他理想中最完美的女人贝奇（达娜·德拉尼 Dana Delany 饰）求婚。然而，天真又浪漫的纽顿把人和人之间的感情想象的太简单了，毫不意外的，他遭到了贝奇的拒绝，因为贝奇根本就不喜欢这个看上去略微有些奇怪的男人。 伤心又失望的纽顿来到酒吧买醉，遇到了女服务生格温（歌蒂·韩 Goldie Hawn 饰），纽顿在朦胧之中将全部的一切和盘托出，两人在酒精的催化之下享受了一夜春情。然而，天亮之后，他们的缘分还在继续，格温竟然找到了纽顿所建造的房子，而且正大光明的搬了进去。
