Synopsis
英国源源不断的鸦片输入令道光皇帝感到江山岌岌可危，虽害怕列强，他还是下诏委派湖广总督林则徐（鲍国安）为钦差大臣前往广州禁烟。但腐败官吏与英国商人的勾结将鸦片贸易变得错综复杂，林则徐的禁烟行动从一开始就面临重重困难，英国商人一面假装听命林则徐，一面策划更大的阴谋。
