Synopsis
农村姑娘菊香（王茜华）念书时成绩优秀，高中毕业本可以保送生资格进入大学，不想却因关系不够硬被人顶替。但性情爽快的她并没因此失掉对生活的热情。嫁给看来精明能干但家境贫寒的李家二柱（孙涛）后，她立誓要与他夫妻协力尽快致富发家，做了种种大胆的脱贫尝试。
