Synopsis
年青书生蒲松龄行路遇险，不得已夜宿兰若寺，却被一蛤蟆一乌龟抓到了一口奇异的古井底，两只精怪比赛讲故事并逼迫蒲松龄评判故事的好坏……最终，被逼无奈的蒲松龄也讲出了自己的奇妙故事。 本片为篇章式结构，分为一条主线《井下故事》以及五个经典聊斋故事改编的《崂山道士》《莲花公主》《聂小倩》《画皮》《鲁公女》，共六个篇章。
