Synopsis
四平战役如火如荼，东北民主联军因缺弹少药，导致部队伤亡惨重。在一些阵地，战斗到最后时刻，一个战士平均每人一发子弹都不够；在简陋的战地医院，抬进抬出的重伤员，连最起码的抗菌素都使不上；医护人员更是奇缺，五个医生中，就有三个兽医，刚刚俘虏来的国民党军医又不敢用，部队的前方、后方相当吃紧。
