Synopsis
千山市新任纪检委书记江涛，上任途中遇上了当地交通局路警因收费与丁家寨的村民发生纠纷，一场血案在即，江涛为了保护村民，被扣押在路边的小屋里。得此消息，千山市市长常守一马上赶往解救，两位多年的朋友竟在这种情况下见面令双方既意外又高兴暂无内容江涛上任后，随着纪检工作的展开，他发现常守一所大力推行的桃花园旅游区开发计划竟成了有关人员官商勾结、刑私舞弊大发横财的温床，面常守一夫妇也涉及其中
