Synopsis
军委命令集中全军测绘大队，采取最先进的测量手段，对空白地带青藏大地进行测量。上尉张亮为完成父亲的遗愿，争取到最艰巨的任务，担任藏北中队队长。少校尚大山不顾刚随军的老婆和孩子，甘当副手，途中遇到中外合资的石油勘探队，张亮的女友高云风也在其中。张亮、尚大山率领全中队战胜了难以想象的恶劣环境，克服了畏难情绪，高质量地按时完成了任务。
