Synopsis
35 岁的埃迪·巴克斯已经五年没露面了。他高中时是明星运动员，但因膝盖受伤而结束了短暂的职业生涯，之后便销声匿迹。当他因可卡因而“上帝赋予的使命”突然出现在家乡芝加哥南部郊区时，他发现青梅竹马的恋人已幸福地结婚，最好的朋友有了一份好工作并组建了新家庭，而他的哥哥埃尔维斯正陷入酗酒的中年。埃迪决心重新找回失去的青春，对“衰老的破布”怒不可遏，他带领他们狂喜地横行；从旧高中的运动场，到绝望的烟雾缭绕的下班后，最后迫降在拉斯维加斯郊外的一个鬼城，带着一只死鸟、一把手枪和一个人质。
