Synopsis
英国一个小镇的居民们，在当地的报纸上读到一则奇怪的启事，启事里声称周五下午在居民利迪西亚的家里将会发生一起谋杀案。好奇的人们聚集起来，等待看热闹。当启事上所说的时刻到来，灯光突然熄灭，一个年轻的旅馆雇员被杀。警察认为是其刊登的启事，他原本打算借此劫财。但是头脑灵光的玛普尔小姐却觉得事情没有这么简单……
