Synopsis
当米契·布莱特(丹尼尔·鲍温德饰)衣锦还乡，回到阔别20多年的故里，位于阿拉斯加州的的小镇，特普佛斯时，他遇到了高中时的老对头，瑞德兄弟，丹(泰德·麦金利饰)和格雷格(布拉德·斯坦饰)。丹正在为镇上传统的圣诞节场景搭建舞台。但他身为镇长，舞台搭建动用了电影下载经费。更糟的是，丹的妻子克莉丝汀(南希·斯塔福德饰)正是高中时米契和丹都喜欢的女孩。米契首先提交了一份法律禁令来反对圣诞节装饰，然后他决定与老对手丹来竞争镇长一职。丹已经当了几年镇长，米契职责丹把基督教义强加到全镇人民身上，并抨击了所有基督徒的傲慢与伪善……
